Pleasure Craft Operator Card
As of September 15th, 2009, all motor boat operators now require a Canadian Pleasure Craft Operator Card in order to drive a motorboat. There is no grandfathering clause, or minimal size of motorboat. Driving a motorboat without a license is an offense, and could lead to a fine.
All canoe-kayak coaches entering the NCCP to become trained or certified coaches at ANY LEVEL must acquire their Pleasure Craft Operator Card.
Take your Pleasure Craft Operator Card Exam at www.boaterexam.com/canada .
