As we wish our past Technical Director the best and plenty of future success, we also welcome our new Technical Director, Mark James, to the team!

Mark is a life-long sprint canoe athlete who began his paddling career at Senobe Aquatic Club on Lake Banook. Mark is ready and eager to make make positive changes in the sport he’s been involved with for so long.

The following message is from Mark:

“ I’ve been fortunate to be a part of canoe/kayak since I was four years old; as an athlete, coach, and volunteer. Our sport is an incredible community that has provided opportunities for me to succeed in life and give back in many ways as well. This role is a chance for me to help athletes, coaches, and clubs meet their goals and take on new challenges. I am excited to start working with you all! "

With a new teammate comes new ideas, perspectives, initiatives, and objectives. All of which will continue to steer canoe/kayak toward an even more fulfilling experience for our coaches, clubs, parents, volunteers, and of course, our athletes.
